Today I’m talking with Claire Kelly who is a singer songwriter and self proclaimed optimist, originally from Milwaukee but now living in Nashville, TN since 2017. “Kelly’s songs paint vivid pictures; the songs bring to mind folks like Guy Clark for their sentimentality and John Prine for their wry humor.” - Glide Magazine She’s toured internationally, had songs placed on primetime television shows on ABC, HBO Max and even the Miss Universe pageant as well as the Netflix series Love is Blind. Claire has won multiple songwriting contests, most recently through world famous The Bluebird Cafe. From concerts in living rooms to critically acclaimed festivals and everything in between, she’s opened up for acts like Colbie Caillat, Anderson East. She’s performed at festivals across the states such as Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Kerrville Folk Festival, The Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival, The Lights Fest, Steel Bridge Song Fest and Mile of Music and I’m super excited about her newest album Hopeful Romantic which just released on May 2nd!
